Our Diabetes Education program is designed for people who want to learn more about their diabetes and how to keep themselves well. We focus on what is important to our participants and encourage questions and individual goals. Please feel free to bring a family member of friend along when you meet with us.
Our outpatient diabetes education program provides both individual and group class instruction. All of the education is provided by either a registered dietitian or registered nurse who are Certified Diabetes Educators. The Good Samaritan Health System Diabetes Self-Management Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education*.		* The American Diabetes Association Recognizes this education service as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education.
